Last round before leaving Japan

Today I played golf with Masa, the last round before I leave Japan next month.

We went to Fuji Royal Country Club, a golf course near my home.

I played in this course last time, though it was four years ago, and the score back then was terrible 138 strokes. So I wanted to revenge on this course before my departure.

As a result, I did it with today’s score of 125 below! Although it’s far beyond my best score of 99, I understand this is my current capacity 🙂

I couldn’t perform well in the morning for two reasons: First, it was raining throughout the first half. Second, I witnessed my colleagues’ party before starting the round, which made me feel bad since I was on leave three days last week from my office. (Yes, I’m just excusing)

But this momentum changed at lunchtime. I checked out a weather forecast and found that it looked like no rain that afternoon. And, I neatly greeted my colleagues during the break time and got feel better.

After getting the weather and my mind cleared, I played better in the second half afternoon!

Stopped raining in the afternoon. Slight sunshine. Now Mt Fuji in the distance.

I’ve been away from playing in a golf course for four years, but I found playing in nature is fun and refreshing!

My muscles are aching, but I enjoy it and feel nice.

I’m gonna sleep well tonight 😀
