Reserved a designated quarantine hotel in Hong Kong
I finally got a reservation in a designated quarantine hotel in Hong Kong!
Firstly I asked travel agencies, such as JTB and HIS, but they said that the rooms were fully booked until late July. Currently, the demand is extremely high because many Hong Kong students who study in US/EU universities are returning to Hong Kong for summer break. So, I thought that I would not be able to attend the program on campus that starts at the end of July, considering three weeks’ quarantine.
But I sent an email that inquires about the availability to all of the designated quarantine hotels except Mandarin Oriental, which costs more than 500 USD per night.
And, I got a reply that says only one room is available! Other hotels informed me that the earliest availability is from late July. So, I immediately booked the first one.
The room’s price is a little high of 1,180HKD, but the business school will partly compensate for the expense.
I learned taking action is important and drive my life.
